Overview

Bitpass is an Identity manager plugin which works with your regular browsers like Chrome or Safari. To save the hassle of saving passwords everytime you visit a regular website or a new site.

The Challenge

Traditional password managers rely on a master password, creating a single point of failure. Forgotten passwords, phishing attacks, and credential theft continue to compromise user security. The challenge was to eliminate passwords altogether while making authentication faster, simpler, and more secure.

The Solution

BitPass replaces passwords with biometric identity using facial and voice recognition secured through blockchain technology. Instead of remembering credentials, users authenticate with who they are. Designed as a lightweight browser extension, BitPass works seamlessly with Chrome and Safari while securely managing passwords, payment cards, and sensitive notes.

Outcome

BitPass introduced a passwordless identity management approach that removed the need for a master password—eliminating one of the biggest vulnerabilities found in traditional password managers. The product was successfully launched in the US market and received positive early feedback for its innovative approach to digital identity and secure authentication.

My Role

I led the product strategy, UX research, interaction design, visual identity, and end-to-end product experience. Working closely with the founding team, I translated complex security technologies into an intuitive experience that made passwordless authentication simple, trustworthy, and accessible for everyday users.
